There are several birth doula options outlined here to provide the level of service that best meets your needs. Payment plans are available to break up the cost of services into affordable monthly payments.
Travel up to 50 miles each way from West Roseville (95747) is included. For in-person support outside of this radius, a travel fee of $50 per additional 25 miles will apply.
What can you expect from your birth doula?
Do you have a vision of what you imagine your birthing experience should be? Do you feel overwhelmed by the information and choices you have for your upcoming birth? Having an educated and trained birth doula who believes in your ability to achieve the best birth experience for you and your baby can ease the overwhelming feelings by ensuring you have support throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth.
A birth doula provides physical and emotional support to the birthing person before, during, and immediately following their birthing time. The birth doula will also be a resource for evidence-based information and will help the birthing person advocate for their informed decision-making power. A birth doula can also be a support for the birthing person’s partner or others invited to the birthing experience to ensure everyone has a positive memory of this amazing event.
Your birth doula will not:
– Perform any clinical/medical tasks.
– Make decisions for you.
– Impose their philosophy/beliefs regarding birth on you.
– Judge your birthing choices/experience.

This birth doula package provides in-person doula support during labor and delivery with minimal prenatal guidance/preparation with your doula. This birth doula option is ideal for repeat clients and for those who are confident in their own prenatal education/preparation, have previous childbirth experience, want the presence of a doula for a planned cesarean/surgical birth, and/or when you do not have much time before expected delivery (for example, 36+ weeks into pregnancy or planned pre-term birth).

- One (1) prenatal visit (typically 2-3 hours)
- Birth and postpartum plan preparation
- On-call for birth starting at 38 weeks (or upon signing of birth doula support service agreement if less than 2 weeks from expected delivery)

This birth doula option is ideal if you have prior childbirth experience but would like specific information/preparation for this upcoming birth, if you want guidance preparing for a planned cesarean/surgical birth without the need for typical labor support information, if you don’t want additional people in your birthing space, and/or if you are confident in your chosen birth team’s ability to utilize the information and strategies we cover during the prenatal visits to support you during labor/delivery.

All birth doula clients are eligible for a 10% discount on postpartum doula support. This discount is included when paying for combined birth/postpartum doula packages. Birth doula clients who later wish to add postpartum doula services will be provided a coupon code to receive the discount.
