If you or someone you know has recently experienced pregnancy or infant loss, including through elective termination, and are in need of support during the grieving process, a bereavement doula can offer a compassionate heart, listening ears, and personal time.
Bereavement doula services are also available to those who are currently pregnant and dealing with a terminal diagnosis for their baby.
Bereavement doula services are provided free of charge. If you would like to support this service with a financial contribution, you may do so via the Bereavement Doula Services option in the Shop/Service Payments page.
What can your bereavement doula do for you?
Processing the range of emotions that come from the loss of a pregnancy or infant is essential for learning to live with the grief without having the grief overtake your life. Being able to connect with a bereavement doula can give you a safe person to discuss what you’re feeling, to talk about your baby and the loss, and to lean on for support in managing whatever tasks you may need help with.
- Emotional support before, during, and/or after your loss
- Scheduled in-person support in your home, at appointments, or wherever you feel the need
- Phone/text/email support anytime
- Assistance running errands
- Referral for additional resources as needed
